Contributed as Database Lead on a 4-person MERN team building a Vancouver weekend activity planner, responsible for designing and maintaining the complete data layer that the frontend and Express API relied on.

Authored every Mongoose schema in the application, defining the full data model, and wrote an OpenStreetMap seed script that populated the database with 130+ real Vancouver venues to support realistic development and testing scenarios.

Built and maintain a 74-test Jest suite at 100% pass rate, then diagnosed and resolved an ESM/CJS module conflict that had blocked the entire team's test pipeline, restoring continuous integration for the full squad within a single sprint.

Orchestrated the full stack in Docker Compose for one-command developer onboarding, with authentication, saved trips, and a polished frontend planned on the roadmap.
